Hello Terry,

Thank you for sending me the information!  It is already quite helpful!  I looked at the checks again & they are dated 1921, which puts them still as Edison Phonograph Works cancelled checks.  However, the Chairman of board signature is Charles Edison.  (I thought he was a brother, my mistake!)  So I will have to do more research & will post it on the Ephemera board.  Thanks so much again! I love your website!  I'm a antique dealer on Ruby Lane & I am also a member on Vintage Village.  I just noticed your group on ephemera, and I hope that maybe you can answer a question for me.  I just purchased 3 old cancelled checks from Thomas Edison's business "Edison Phonograph Works" that are signed by his brother Charles, who was the chairman of the board.  Are ephemera such as this of any value?  Thanks!
