So, when you were a little boy or girl what did you want to be? I went through all the usual stages but mostly they were influenced by what I was reading at the time. During my "Cherry Ames" phase I wanted to be a
nurse. The Vicki Barr series of books convinced me that I should be a stewardess (long before they were called flight attendants!), and of course I wanted to be daring and independent and smart like Nancy Drew,
