Vintage Articulated Rhinestone Floral Drop Pendant Necklace by whimsicalvintage

Vintage articulated rhinestone floral drop pendant necklace.
A very pretty bridal or special occasion piece.
Rhodium setting and chain with aurora borealis and clear rhinestones. Articulated branches allow the necklace to lay beautifully.
Top branches fall from chain measuring 2 1/8" or 53mm...the floral focal piece measures 3/4" or 18mm in diameter...the hanging dangle belows measures 1 3/4" or 44mm.
Length measurement is 15.5", the extender adds another 3" - for a total of 18.5"
Choker length at 15.5 and longer length at 18.5
I did replace a link on the chain with a similarly colored link. These are not split links but a continuous chain - so cutting and replacing with a split link was required...while it is not identical, it is very unnoticeable.

Antique Victorian Silver Filigree Bird in Hand Brooch/Pendant with Lapis Lazuli by whimsicalvintage

Beautifully crafted antique filigree silver bird in hand brooch with pendant loop.
A few factors go into the dating of this piece. While it's origins could be from the Middle East and technically, that combined with the trumpet clasp...could date it to the 1930's (as Eastern Europe and the Middle East continued to use trumpet clasps into the 1930's, where as most others stopped using them in the early 1900's)...however the use of the hand and bird in hand (see close up of the bottom and top of brooch by double clicking on image)...leads me to the late 1800's or turn of the century, when this design was highly popular. Combine that with my knowledge of it's original owner...and we're looking at the Victorian Era.
This is unmarked silver...I have not tested it, but based on it's patina when acquired and how it cleaned...I would put it in the "just under sterling" category:)
Brooch measures 2.5" by 2.5" or 6.3cm by 6.3cm
This brooch took many cleanings and could probably use a few more...but I'll leave that to it's new owner...as I personally like a little of the "past" left on:)
Center Lapis Lazuli stone measures 8mm.
With the right chain, this would make an amazing pendant necklace!

Vintage 1980's Limoges Fontanille & Marraud floral lily egg shaped covered trinket dish.
Handpainted in shades of gray, yellow, green and white.
Goldtrim at base and around center of egg.
Egg measures 4" by 3" (at widest point) and stands 2.25" high.
Limoges backstamp dates this piece from 1979. Point of purchase dates it to the mid 1980's.

Vintage 1950's Solid Perfume Goldtone Box with Faceted Gold Lucite Oval by whimsicalvintage

Vintage 1950's Solid Perfume Box in Goldtone with Faux Crystal Accent.
Originally this was a Heaven Scent perfume box. Helena Rubinstein created Heaven Scent in 1941 and it's popularity rose through the years. During the 1990's the perfume was taken over by Dana Perfumes. I have cleaned the solid perfume out of the container...let's just say that solid form Heaven Scent, is not Heavenly Scented after 60 years:) It's ready to be filled with a new solid scent or cream. The closure on this is a snap closure and not a locking closure, while you could probably use it to hold other small items, it wouldn't be guaranteed to stay shut should something pry it open.
Box measures 1 5/8" by 1" or 42mm by 25mm
Excellent condition, inside and out.

I've been fortunate to find another of these interesting etched beauties:) ...for those of you who noticed my first one:)
Vintage 1950's Modernist etched sterling silver ring. I'm not really sure how to describe this one...and will let the pics tell most of the story. The twisted angles of the ring sit at center on the finger with one twisted up and the other down...all in all a very cool ring!
Width at front is 16mm (top to bottom), with the side to side measurement at 12mm.
The markings on this ring are very difficult to make out and appear to be Scandinavian by origin.
Marked 925
Size 8 (this ring has been resized and there's a slight bend to the back of band where the sizing was done...it doesn't effect the ring in anyway, but I did want to mention it:))
