Luv2LuvAntiques Quandary Live Model Or Mannequin?

Vintage Ladies Green Penoir Set Nightgown Nightie Nightwear at Luv2LuvAntiques.com

Luv2LuvAntiques has a perplexing question! Live model or mannequin?

I have seen many vintage / antique sellers using mannequins, to display clothing and accessories in their photos for listings. Others have used human models. I have tried both!

Is your shipping area Inspector ready ?

I think it is important to designate an area for shop items. I have my items that are listed downstairs, in a very large area, that also is used as a laundry room, and storage for other items. Last year a plumber was called to work on the drains to the washer. I explained to him that I sold items on the…

Wake Up and Make The Coffee By J.Petroff http://ramonasvintageapplianceforum.wordpress.com/

Upcycled Vintage Percolator Lamp by AwesomeZone4000 on Etsy. I can't function in the morning without coffee. I get up early - before 5:00. It's dark, it's quiet, no one is up but me.

I make my way straight to the coffee maker then on to the internet. I write, I look and drink some more coffee. I'm awake, I'm alive and I'm ready to move on to my life.

So you don't drink coffee? Well great for you!

This week, I'll do some posts on Vintage Coffee Makers.… Continue

Ready to Re-join the Vintage World!

Hi Guys! and new people I don't know too! I've been away for quite a while. Lots of the chaos in my life is clearing up. Mom died in October, which was certainly a mixed blessing. Our smaller family is re-equilibrating pretty well.

Nik & I have continued our hunting adventures over the last several months, although at a slower rate. I'm organizing to get back to selling; I'm excited to hear VV is now a venue!! We've wandered into new territories, including pocket watches &… Continue

The…
