Becoming a successful online seller
I sold for many years on eBay. With all the changes to fee structures and costs, it has become less and less profitable. I was listing wonderful vintage costume jewelry with low starting prices, and often not selling them or selling them for opening bids. It just wasn't working for me.
I opened a Ruby Lane shop in 2009 and put my higher end costume jewelry there, along with any high end small items that I had. The first year…

Welcome to Kathy's Vintage Jewelry
Hi All! Welcome to my blog on Vintage Village. I am excited to be here and to have a venue to share my passion and love of vintage and antique jewelry.
I am an addict when it comes to garage sales, estate sales and especially auctions!!! I love the hunt. I have been very fortunate to find some very good sales. In the past I have sold on Ebay, selling everything from old toys, vintage quilts and all types of collectible glassware and more. During my hunts, I discovered…

I just joined the wonderful Vintage Village yesterday, and wanted to introduce myself and invite you to add me to your friends list here. My daughter and I live in eastern TN and we have a little shop on Etsy where we sell vintage buttons, vintage jewelry, ephemera, and other items.
We LOVE vintage and antique treasures and have many items that we have used to decorate our homes for many years!! Nothing like the warm glow of our 3 beautiful old…

Marilyn Monroe & Elvis Presley
Hello my friends! Just a quick note to let you know that I am a Marilyn & Elvis FREAK, so don't be surprised when you see pictures of one or the other from time-to-time.
I collect anything I can on both of them.
Toodle-oo,
Cheryl

Mother's Day 2011
I want to wish you all a very Happy Mother's Day, I hope you are pampered and treated like a queen. Order whatever you want for the big dinner and have a blast!
We're staying home, but I got a new baby kitten today! Having trouble making a firm decision on her name, She's an almost all white Calico, the spots are very few. Here are what I've narrowed down to: Princess; or Kate (or both together?), Isabella 'Bella' or the hubby's suggestion: Snowball. I'm leaning toward…

Looking for a Fedora!
In case you didn't know, I love hats. I am looking for a really cool Fedora. One I can wear everyday with my look like vintage jeans, and at an affordable price. Like $50 or less. Am I dreaming? I prefer brown (neutral color) and not wool. It is hot hot here where I live, SW Georgia, so would like something not so 'heavy'. There are a few options on RL that I like (they seem to sell fast) but I thought I would expand my search and see what else is 'out' there. It doesn't have to be a…
