Kind of creepy, yet funny
Bought a little metal cabinet at an estate sale to refinish and found this dirty, little guy inside.

Bask in the summer glow and have some fun - but don't fall in the soup!
This week's theme is all about Beach Party Movies! Have you ever seen one?
Beach Party movies were popular in the 50s and 60s and were famous for their kitschy humor, summery fun music, and air of teenage rebellion. Most of the actors played independent, fun loving teenagers, even though they were really in their 20s. They were free to do whatever they want and live on their own terms in summer houses…

That Evil Ice-cream Truck
Earlier this spring the ice-cream truck man came down my steet with its crazy music blairing and when my young daughter asked what it was, instinctively I blurted, "That's the evil truck. You want nothing to do with that".
Now everytime that truck comes down my road playing that stupid music my 2yr. old says, "oh, their is that evil truck".
That's right dear. Mommy will protect you.…

Last Weeks Groovy Finds
I was tickled to find these old lamps at one of the local Salvation Army shops. As much as I like them my intentions were to get them listed in my shop for resale, but the hubby, being the hippie he is, instantly fell in love. With that said, the lamps have found a new home. Ours.…
