Hello, dear readers!

 

I do not often update my blog here on TVV, because I have a business blog elsewhere.  I actually hope to change this, however, and do more vintage-focused blogging here, since TVV is a specialty site.  I just thought I'd take a few minutes to update you all on my experiences with JenniferLynn's Finds Vintage in 2011.

We are nesting...the move is complete.  We feel at home in the "new digs" and are enjoying life on the beach.  Well, almost on the beach.  The beach is two blocks away.  We have a great view and my daily walks are very rewarding both visually and spiritually.

Beauty behind the Iron Curtain -- Soviet New Years Graphic.

At the time when the Soviet Union separated from the rest of the world within the Iron Curtain there was formed and developed a special culture of the Soviet graphics. Some of it goes back to the Soviet animation, but the Soviet Christmas/New Years cards is separate line, well known in the world.
