Ready to Re-join the Vintage World!

Hi Guys! and new people I don't know too! I've been away for quite a while. Lots of the chaos in my life is clearing up. Mom died in October, which was certainly a mixed blessing. Our smaller family is re-equilibrating pretty well.

Nik & I have continued our hunting adventures over the last several months, although at a slower rate. I'm organizing to get back to selling; I'm excited to hear VV is now a venue!! We've wandered into new territories, including pocket watches & clocks, cameras, art glass & ivory carvings. I'll be re-upping my premium membership for certain :)

Nik also won 2nd place in the Wildlife in NC photo contest in the Invertibrate category - a 14 yo in a field of hundreds of pros & amateurs. I got him a glorious new (expensive) camera for his birthday/Christmas, so he's got some photographing "stuff" to do!

We're headed to Italy in October. Our goal is to earn enough $ to buy more vintage in Europe!! I plan to mail a large package to the US after every city, so I won't be lugging loot... Anyone who has advice about good hunting grounds in Rome, Florence or Paris - I'd love to hear from you!
