I couldn't believe it!  I had a buyer this week from Florida.  She bought the large orange basin with black splatter.  It is a beauty, but it did have 2 chips and 1 colored chip (which someone had try to conceal).  I didn't know when I bought it that anyone besides me would be interested in it.  Just when you think you know a little about get surprised--again!  I have yet another California Pottery piece, which is marvelously a gem, is marked,Vintage Lane & Co. Van Nuys Calif U.S.A. 1213 swirled turquoise green mod fruit bowl, Very RETRO!!

You must see this fruit bowl!  California to Florida, I guess California Pottery is still popular!

  • I have a tv chicken lamp and it say Lane and Co Van Nuys Calif.  and then   L2019   with a little circle with a c in it I think and 62.   Can anyone give me any info on this . How much it is worth ?  I really like it and it goes well in my kitchen .

  • Hello!  The Lane and Co., Van Nuys, CA made items in the 50s and 60s.  You may need to post a picture of it for anyone to get close to what it might be worth. Does it work? Of course, with that said, the worth of an item is what it might sell for at any given which audience or consumer....even a printed price can be far off from a real auction price...for me, the worth of a vintage item is priceless...especially a Lane and Co. It is hard to sell even the smallest of pieces I collect.  If I find any information on this piece, I'll report back.  -=brenda   BWs Vintage Collectibles formerly BWs Recollections Wholesale
