hello...just back from England and France today....two long weekends in France and there were lots of 'vide greniers' rather like neighbourhood garage sales and 'brocants' collectible fairs....but I cant bring much home...bought a couple of interesting bags of old lace that I will work on this week...Jan
Thank you for your friendship!! I was excited to see I had a couple of "clicks" on The Vintage List. I appreciate your hard work.

TOO funny - I had just run across your blog yesterday (I don't even remember what I was searching for when it came up in my results) and realized when I saw posts on Hocking Hills, Springfield, etc. that you were local. And I originally found Vintage Village via the Vintage List. So it's a small world (after all)...

Yes, I will definitely keep my eye out for hypoallergenic components as I agree that it would be a plus to my offerings. Will keep you in mind and will let you know if I come across any, down the line.
Take Care,
Julie
Hi - I did a search and could not come up with any adjustable bases that are surgical or stainless steel. There are some that claim to be silver or gold plated but a little skeptical of this claim as I have seen identical items that are not being sold as plated. I am thinking these would have a nickel component. The function/style of these bases also look somewhat inferior. I was able to find some handmade/artisan sterling silver adjustable bases being sold on Etsy as a single unit. Not sure if you are allergic to SS but you can let me know if you think that is something you would be interested in pursuing. Would love to find something that would work for you as I can understand how frustrating that can be.

Hey, thanks for the friend invite!! Sorry it took so long to reply---I've been doing some spring cleaning and organizing of my vintage merchandise and it has taken oh so much longer than I ever imagined!! :0 -- :)
