Thank you, Carol. I'm looking forward to being a member here. This seems to be such a nice site and compliment to Ruby Lane. I can already appreciate some of the great info in the groups. Thanks again, Anita
Just learning how to use the system. We only have a small portion of inventory prepaired & uploaded. With over 2,000 more items to shot, research, price, & write-up, we have been overwhelmed. The sales came in more rapidly then expected & continue to come. Just learning shipping, confused & having hard time with pricing the expense.
Then our different groups reach into more every area, needing research into items never before known about. Half of all purchases are international, which we like yet makes shipping even more complex. We expcect we will need help in focusing the details of many items. Finding the experts that know about some special items, many in number has been a problem.
Thanks Carol! I enjoy networking with other RL shop owners on Twitter and Facebook, so I'm looking forward to The Vintage Village. So many different ideas, so much to learn from other shop owners, it's always rewarding.
Ok, we got the letter from Lora about our tags we use, and when they are 2 words used we are to use the quotation marks with it which is what we have always known to do, and sometimes need reminding of this:) But, know it helps us to do this with tags being picked up.
What I am wondering about is that some where I had read, was told...you know, that sort of thing....that if you use 2 words, or the group of words that you could also use the - mark between them...UGH! Got tongue tied with the name for it, sorry:) Anyway, example of such is: candle-holders, soap-dish, jewelry-box, and so on. This could be used in place of using the quotation marks. Do you know, is this acceptable for our tags, or should it not be done?
Appreciate your help, and knowledge of this. Thank you for your time Carol, and I look forward to hearing from you about this:)
