1967 Linen Calendar Kitchen Towel Covered Bridge and Ice Skatin

  • This great linen calendar towel is like an ode to the old covered bridges. At the bottom it states....Wooden Arches--Flung by Hand. Then goes on a bit more about them. The top scene Is a covered bridge in winter with people ice skating on the stream below.

This towel has never been washed. It is a nice weighty linen. The main colors in the print are teal and rusty red. There is a folded over and sewn down edge at the top for a dowel.

One odd thing I noticed about this calendar towel. It is the same as the 2017 calendar. Jan. 1st is on a Sunday.

These old calendar towels really make the greatest kitchen towels. They dry dishes very well plus they wash very well. This one could use a good wash. It has darkened here and there from age but still looks great.
