Welcome, Carmel Collectibles

No matter who you are somewhere there is someone who loves YOU!  So enjoy that wonderful feeling of warmth through friendship, passion or love of fashion.  Spring is sprung, the flowers riz, I wonder where the antiques is?  LOL Gone looking...

Check out my shop Carmel Treasures right here on the village for non-vintage items I have found on my journey's that were too nice to pass up.  Take a peak at the surprises.

Nothing pleases me more than to welcome you to my shops, Carmel Collectibles and Carmel Treasures.  I started loving old things when visiting antique and second hand stores with my parents as a child.  The shop owners visited with my folks and me and I grew to love to learn about the items  picked up and looked at.  To me the history of a person travels through your hands when you hold a pretty dish, an old book, kitchen tools  or any other piece  that catches your eye.  Every piece was loved and cared for and could tell a story if it could talk.  I love that someone else sees uniqueness in what I found.

Stop in and see what I have in my shop!

Sharing a story

Having a husband who loved to play with words. He would often write something worth sharing especially on this day.  I went into the archives of his writing and thought I would share this with you.

Enjoy!  Beware,  you might get caught learning something.

  • There's no such thing as too much candy.
  • All work and no play can make you a basket case.
  • A cute tail attracts a lot of attention.

Computers and the puzzle

Posted on February 13, 2013 at 5:41pm 0 Comments

Slow computer, black screen, erratic computer behavior and power surges are what some of us deal with daily. They are the pieces of the puzzle you can't find an answer to sometimes.  The pieces you spend a lot of time searching for only to walk away frustrated and then later return again to look,  sure the answer is there. You complain about it and have it checked.  So you have a friend look at it or a relative or even pay for a computer tech   to check it out at your cost.  Then you breathe…
